Manapool

CardOps integrates directly with Manapool via their API. Orders sync automatically, and new orders trigger a webhook that adds them to CardOps in real time.

Setup

  1. Go to your Manapool API settings to find your API key
  2. In CardOps, go to Settings > Integrations > Manapool
  3. Enter your Manapool email and API key
  4. Click Connect
Your Manapool API key is encrypted with AES-256-GCM in the CardOps database. It is never stored in plain text.

What syncs

Once connected, CardOps pulls all of your existing Manapool order data automatically. Going forward, new orders trigger a webhook that creates the order in CardOps immediately.
Manapool payouts are not available through the API. To get payout data automatically, set up email forwarding for Manapool payout notifications as described below.

CardOps Inbound Email

TCGPlayer does not offer a public API, so CardOps uses a novel approach: email ingestion. By forwarding your TCGPlayer notification emails (and Manapool payout emails) to a CardOps-managed address, the system extracts order and payout data automatically. This is also how you get Manapool payout data into CardOps — since payouts don’t come through the API, forwarding the payout notification emails lets CardOps reconcile payouts for you.

Setup

  1. Go to Settings > Integrations > Inbound Email
  2. Copy your unique inbound email address (it looks like your-shop-name@mail.cardops.io)
  3. Set up forwarding rules in your email provider — see Email Forwarding Setup for step-by-step instructions for Gmail, Outlook, Apple Mail, and more
Your inbound email address is based on your shop name, but changing your shop name in Settings > Account will not change your email address. If you’d like a new address that matches your updated shop name, reach out to the admin team on Discord.

What we extract

The data available from email ingestion is limited compared to a direct API integration:
  • What we get: individual line items (product name and quantity), order total, order number
  • What we don’t get: shipping costs, individual line item prices, fee breakdowns
This creates a good placeholder order that you can go back and populate with full details later. Orders created from email ingestion are marked accordingly so you know which ones need additional data.

What gets forwarded

You should forward three types of notifications:
You have one inbound email address and a limited number of emails that can be processed. Configure your forwarding rules carefully to make sure only the right notifications are forwarded. See Email Forwarding Setup for the exact sender and subject criteria to use.
