Before importing your historical data, decide how much detail you want. You have two options:
  1. Estimated totals — import orders with calculated totals from the order sheet. Fast and easy, but no line item detail.
  2. Maximum detail — combine multiple TCGPlayer reports to get the most complete picture possible.
Both approaches work. Choose based on how much historical granularity you need for your reporting.

Option 1: Estimated totals (quick import)

Import your TCGPlayer order export with estimated totals. This creates order records with order numbers and calculated amounts, but without individual line items. It’s fast and gives you historical data for P&L reporting.
  1. Export your order list from TCGPlayer
  2. Go to Orders > Import CSV in CardOps
  3. Upload the file

Option 2: Maximum detail (full import)

For the most complete historical data, export three reports from your TCGPlayer seller dashboard: Export all three with the widest date range and most detail available. Combine them in CardOps to build orders with full line item information.
These three reports combined give you almost everything. If you want even more data (condition, exact per-item pricing, etc.), see the scraper option below.

Paste import (single orders)

For a quick way to import a single order with full detail, you can use Ctrl+A (or Select All on your phone) on the order page, then paste it into CardOps. This captures everything on the page including line items, condition, and per-item pricing.
Manapool orders: When pasting Manapool order data, make sure the URL is included at the start of the copied text. If you do a Ctrl+A / Select All and the URL isn’t present, the import will fail.

Option 3: Web scraping (advanced, batches)

For bulk importing, you can scrape order details directly from TCGPlayer using a third-party scraper. This is useful when you want to import large batches of historical orders with full detail. We recommend the Easy Scraper Chrome extension.
Use at your own risk. Scraping TCGPlayer is not officially supported and could violate their terms of service. In small quantities it shouldn’t be a problem, but follow these guidelines:
  • Process orders in batches of a few hundred per day at most
  • Set the scraper to wait 7 seconds between page loads
  • Import the provided scraper configurations in Easy Scraper:
Use the API import for Manapool whenever possible — the Manapool scraper is a backup option only. CardOps may include its own built-in scraper in the future.
Scraped data is brought into CardOps via paste import.

Manapool import

If you’ve connected the Manapool API integration, your historical orders sync automatically — no manual import needed. If you’re using the scraper as a backup, follow the same batching guidelines as TCGPlayer.

Overlapping reports

When you’re uploading multiple reports that cover overlapping date ranges, CardOps gives you the option to update existing orders instead of creating duplicates. This means you can safely upload the Order List, then the Pull Sheet, then the Shipping Export without worrying about duplicate records — just select the update option when prompted.
